Folios 66-67: Richard Lee, HMS Serpent. Letter from William Neiles, Chairman, the West Indies Merchants and Planters, Bristol. On behalf of this body he encloses a letter to the Admiralty praising the conduct of Richard Lee, HMS Serpent.
Folios 68-69: enclosed with folios 66-67. Letter dated 5 December 1793. 21 Bristol Merchants and Planters write to express their appreciation for Richard Lee in safeguarding their trade. They ask that he is given post rank.
