Folios 131-132: Edmund Sexton Pery Knox, late HMS Eurotas, Dungarvan, Ireland. In reply to Mr Barron's letter of 11 July 1814 [not present], re William Pope of Bristol's instruments, he states that he has tried using it for course and distance but is not sure of it yet.
Folio 133: enclosure with folios 131-132. Note from Admiralty stating that the letter was forwarded to Lord Henry Paulett.
