Description

Folios 299-300: John Hancock, 37 Essex Street, Strand. Barnett & King. [His Agent]. Covering letter for the enclosed Log [not present ] of the proceedings of HMS Nymphen, John Hancock Captain between 1 January 1814 and 24 March 1814 also two certificates of no new Observations and request the usual Certificates from the 1 January 1814 to 24 March 1814.

Folio 301: enclosure with folios 299-300. Certificate that HMS Nymphen has not been between the 1 January 1813 and 20 February 1814 in any Port or Harbour except the Downs, North Yarmouth, Cuxhaven, Flemish Roads, the Nore, Spithead, the Tagus, Roompot and the West Scheldt during which time there could not be any further observations than what have already been given in, and laid down in the Quarter Waggeners and Captain Hancock's Survey of the Droog and Wake Raans and the Spleet Channel. Signed John Hancock, D Balverney - Master, HMS Nymphen, off Borsilen in the West Scheldt. 20 February 1814.

Folio 302: enclosure with folios 299-300.
