Folios 610-611: Philip Hue, HMS Actaeon, Liverpool. Responding to Admiralty letter regarding Bernard Wallace, says he has now examined the man and believes he is actually from Ireland. He encloses the American protection [not now present] which Wallace held at the time he was impressed by Captain Goldborough and adds that the 'observations on the back' of the protection had been noted and he believes them to be true.
