Folios 120-121: Edwards Lloyd Graham, HMS Alcmene, Portsmouth Harbour.
Responding to a letter dated 22 April 1811 that he has asked the boatswain, Jennant, why he wrote to the Admiralty asking to be moved to another ship instead of addressing his captain. It appears that it was done through ignorance of the convention.
