Folios 116-118: Henry Richard Glynn, Regulating Captain, Poole Rendezvous. Reports that William Warren was impressed on 28 [October 1808] on shore by Lieutenant Marshall. He is 20 years old and has been at sea 3 years. He believes him to be a very good Ordinary Seaman.
Folios 118-120: enclosure with folios 116-118. Letter dated 2 Nov 1808 from Matthew Warren, Poole to W W Pole, Admiralty. William Warren junior is Mate of the Snow Favorite of Teignmouth and part owner of the vessel. About a week ago he was impressed at Poole. he is his son and has not been at sea more than 3 years. The vessel will be ready for sea in the coming week. Asks for him to be liberated.
Folios 120-122: enclosure with folios 116-118. Letter dated 31 October 1808 from Matthew Warren, Poole, to W W Pole, Admiralty. Reply to be directed to Matthew Warren, Mr W Abraham's. Poole, Dorset. Asks to be allowed to find a substitute instead of his son William Warren who was recently impressed and to ask Captain Glynn to keep him there for a reasonable time to enable him to find such a substitute.
