Folios 224-225: John Gore, HMS Revenge, Spithead. Enclosing a letter about boys who were found starving and naked, who were discharged from HMS Medusa. Recommends the prize money be withheld from the Master and paid to the boys.
Folios 226-227: enclosure with folios 224-225. Letter from the Rev. Richard Armitstead of Whitehaven asking for the prize money due to the apprentices to be paid to them, and not to the Masters. The apprentices are named as McKenzie, [Heiddivy?], Usher and Kane.
