Folios 205-206: John Gore, HMS Medusa, Spithead. Enclosing letters from Lieutenant Evans and Surgeon [William] Stenhouse about the ill health of Lieutenant Evans who is given an excellent testimonial.
Folios 207-208: enclosure with folios 205-206. Lieutenant Evans requesting time off for illness, and six months on half pay.
Folios 209-210: enclosure with folios 205-206. [William] Stenhouse, Surgeon, confirming Lieutenant Evans' contraction of a violent infection of the liver while in India. Recommending a few months residence in England.
