Folios 41-42: Joseph Ellison, HMS Standard, Hamoaze, Plymouth. The Carpenter is debilitated and cannot travel to be surveyed due to age and infirmity and asks for him to be examined here and encloses the Surgeon's opinion and bill.
Folios 43-44: enclosure in folios 41-42. Petition of David Jones undated , aged 64 years of which 32 have been spent in HM Navy seeks superannuation.
Folios 45-46: enclosure in folios 41-42. Letter dated February 1st 1796 from Robert Kirkwood, HMS Standard, Hamoaze, Plymouth, who presents his opinion on the state of health of David Jones, Carpenter of HMS Standard and recommends that he is surveyed locally.
