Description

Folios 192-193: Man Dobson, Regulating Officer Bristol. Nothing was the matter when he saw Joseph Hanmore when he was on board HMS Enchantress after which the men pressed were sent to HMS Basilisk. Lieutenant Pitman is very attentive to his duty and Mr Yeateman the Surgeon agrees with his opinion as does Lieutenant Bostock of HMS Enchantress.

Folios 194-195: enclosure with folios 192-193. Captain Downman to order 20 marines and 40 boys.

Folios 196-197: enclosure with folios 192-193. Letter dated 31 August 1814 by William Pitman, Impress Service, Bristol. Joseph Hanmore,described, volunteered on 28th July with John Davis, Midshipman and Mr Yeateman Surgeon. As he was the right age and in perfect health, he was accepted. C Yeateman says he has no complaint.

Folio 198: enclosure with folios 192-193. Charles Bostock, Lieutenant, HMS Enchantress. Joseph Hanmore was well and in good health.
