Folios 172-173: Francis Cole, HMS Revolutionnaire, Plymouth. Requests that John Smart, at present serving in the ordinary at Plymouth is appointed to replace Webb Flemming, Cook on HMS La Revolutionnaire, who has been appointed to a larger ship. John Smart is a Greenwich Pensioner with a large family and is deserving of this post.
