Description

Folios 359-360: Cuthbert Collingwood, HMS Excellent. Reminding of the situation of Mr John Maffin Acting Lieutenant on HMS Excellent. The Second Lieutenancy is vacant and Vice Admiral William Waldegrave appointed this gentleman to act during our last service. He is rather uneasy that not being appointed by their Lordships, he may be superceded when he is abroad.
