Description

Folio 2: Philip Beaver, South End. Captain Tomlinson and Captain Grey state that Britain Churchman has been impressed at Hull from the Danby, a coaster from Maldon. Asks that Churchman be discharged from HMS Sheerness tender.

Folio 3: enclosed with folio 2. Letter dated 23 September 1804 by Nicholas Tomlinson, Maldon, to Captain Philip Beaver. Britain Churchman has been impressed at Hull from the Danby, a coaster from Maldon. He wrote to Captain Grey and received the enclosed reply.

Folio 4: enclosed with folio 2. Letter dated 20 September 1804 by E.Grey, Regulating Officer, to Captain Tomlinson. Has not the power to discharge Britain Churchman without an order.
