Folio 36: Thomas Boys. HMS Aquilon. He reports that HM Ships Aquilon and Brunswick and 81 sail of convoy from Jamaica arrived off Cape Clear this evening. He is sending the trade bound for London with the Brunswick and the Aquilon will proceed to Ireland and then to Spithead as per Sir Hyde Parker's orders.
Folios 37-38: enclosure with folio 36. Orders dated 7 May 1800 by Admiral Sir Hyde Parker, Commander in Chief, Jamaica, HMS Queen in Port Royal Harbour, to Captain Thomas Boys, HMS Aquilon. Order to collect the trade from several ports bound for England, calling at Black River and Savanna la mar, then to Port Antonio to join HMS Brunswick and proceed.
Folios 39-40: enclosure with folio 36. Orders dated 7 May 1800 by Admiral Sir Hyde Parker, HMS Queen, Port Royal Harbour, Captain Thomas Boys, HMS Aquilon. Order to send HMS Brunswick to London and HMS Aquilon to Ireland and then to Spithead. Also to deliver his despatches to Captain Wallis for the Admiralty, journal of proceedings and list of convoy and to forward despatches by express. In case of meeting cruizers off Cape Clear, make a private signal for ships coming from windward.
