Description

Folio 115: John Barrett, 22, Arundel Street, [Strand]. Is sending an affidavit concerning an American vessel he was forced to employ, and asks for the money he is owed to be paid.

Folio 116: enclosure in folio 115. Letter dated 11 June 1799 by Rupert George, Ambrose Serle and William Otway, Transport Office, to Captain John Barrett, Arundel Street. Concerning the payment of money for the hire of a cartel, when employed in the conveyance of Charaibs from St. Vincent to Rattan Island.
