The 'North West for 2012' website (NWfor2012.com) has been created by the North West Steering Group for the 2012 Games and WE PLAY, the North West's cultural legacy programme. NWfor2012.com is hosted by Arts Council England.
The North West Steering Group for the 2012 is made up of representatives from the North West Nations and Regions team, Sport England, Arts Council England, and NHS Northwest, Old Trafford City Operations Group, alongside representatives from each of the five sub-regions. The Steering Group feeds into the London 2012 Nations and Regions Group, which is made up of representatives from every UK region and was set up to make sure the whole country is involved in London 2012.
WE PLAY is the North West cultural legacy programme for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. WE PLAY is funded by Legacy Trust UK.
