Description

Prisoner name: Thomas Peach.

Prisoner age: 20.

Court and date of trial: Kent Quarter Sessions, Maidstone, January 1831.

Crime: Stealing a pig's head from the shop of Charles Wright, a butcher of Maidstone, in December 1830 or January 1831.

Initial sentence: Transportation for life.

Gaoler's report: Character bad, before conivcted of felony.

Annotated: Nil.

Petitioner(s): Hannah Chambers (the prisoner's sister) of Thorney Fields near Maidstone, Kent, undersigned by Charles Wright, prosecutor.

Grounds for clemency: Mitigation will prove a warning.
