Rolf Dietrich Kurt HARBOTTLE: British. Son of a German mother and a British father, HARBOTTLE arrived in this country in 1937 and found employment in partnership with a German Intelligence agent, Gunther SCHUTZ. He was interviewed the following year about his connection with SCHUTZ. Suspicions of his pre-war sympathies were never resolved. However he served in the army throughout the war
