Assize files, Northern Circuit (Northumberland, Cumberland, Westmorland).
Justices: John Moubray [Mowbray] and others.
Three files: 1. Northumberland; 2. Cumberland and Westmorland; 3. Lancashire. All on original thongs, knotted at front and rear, with appointments of attorneys filed separately. Files bear contemporary notes referring to assize sessions held in the autumn of 40 Edward III (1366).
