Assize file, South-Western Circuit (Hampshire, Dorset, Devon).
Justices: John de Moubray [Mowbray] and Edmund de Chelreye [Childrey].
Loose membranes, presumably once part of one or more files produced during Moubray and Chelreye's circuit. Most of the surviving membranes are from Hampshire, with a few for Dorset and one for Devon, and presumably represent only a small proportion of the contents of the original file or files.
The assize rolls of these justices are at JUST 1/1466, JUST 1/1468 and JUST 1/1471, and presumably these membranes once formed part of the corresponding file or files for those sessions.
