Description (What the record is about)
- This dataset relates to the 1995 update of the Coast Protection Survey of England, in which respondents were asked to update the information on defence elements which had been gathered in the original 1993-94 survey. Where new information about defence elements required consequential changes to the data on defence lengths, these changes were made by the survey contractor. Therefore the dataset consists of data from the original survey, updated and amended where necessary by respondents or by the contractor. The dataset consists of two tables (Length_95 and Element_95) which contain data relating to defence lengths and defence elements, respectively.
