Westminster. 'Plot West': plan and elevation of a block of houses three storeys high in a crescent shape proposed to be built west of the Sessions House (and shown on the left of the perspective sketch described under WORK 30/470); the elevation faces Broad Sanctuary. Scale: 1 inch to 17 feet. A note states: 'This building not being in so conspicuous a situation as that to the east of the Sessions House, and having no relative connection with the Abbey; plain houses are proposed without architectural embellishment'. Watermark: 'Ruse and Turners 1805'. An overlay attached to the left-hand side of the plan shows an alternative design for the end pavillion. ORDER THIS DOCUMENT AS WORK 30/462.
