'Investigation of Allied Planes lost in the Palembang Air-Raid (Date of Raid - 24th and 29th Jan 1945)': outline map of Palembang and its environs, showing territory southward to Tajungraja and Kayagung, southwest to Gelumbang and Lembak, and westward to Pangkalambulei and Lubuklancang, including the Komering and Musi Rivers. Key to places where planes were shot down, places where crew were taken as prisoners of war, and graves; reference notes on the operation and casualties. Compass indicator. A similar map of Muaradua and environs, further south-west, up the Komering River, is affixed to the face of the sheet. Originally filed with a list of naval airmen killed or missing in the Far East.
