1 item extracted from MT 6/958/4. Yorkshire, West Riding. 'Midland Railway Worth Valley Branch': two plans of part of the railway line between Keighley and Oxenhope, showing the proposed layout of tracks, signals, points, etc, and railway buildings at Oakworth and Haworth stations. Reference tables. Scale: 1 inch to 40 feet. Signed by J Allen Warmald, 11 March 1899. Stamped (on the dorse) by the Midland Railway, March 1899, and (on the face) at the Board of Trade, 22 March 1899. Insets: two diagrams of gradients; horizontal scale: 1 inch to 2 feet [1:24]. A pencilled note states that the new down siding was hitherto a passenger line. Originally printed on one sheet, with Oakworth on the left-hand side and Haworth on the right, but now torn in two, separating the plans; both portions perished in several places along the fold lines. Originally accompanying a letter (numbered R 4130) from the Midland Railway to the Railway Department, Board of Trade, 21 March 1899, requesting approval for the works.
