Grigoriy Zinovyevich BESEDOVSKIY: Russian. BESEDOVSKIY fled in 1929 while Charg? d'Affaires at the Soviet Embassy in Paris and under orders to return to Moscow on suspicion of embezzlement. He subsequently became leader of a group of Soviet 'non-returners' in Paris which published the journal 'Borba' ('The Struggle'). The file contains many press cuttings of news reports about the affair and about BESEDOVSKIY's memoirs
