2 items (numbered 7 and 10): maps of places in Portugal at the time of the Peninsular War. Detailed descriptions are given at item level.
These maps were originally part of an accumulation of 47 maps which are now distributed among MPH 1/151, MPH 1/152, MPH 1/153, WO 78/1004/1 and WO 78/1004/2; these last two were initially held together under the reference MR 650, but reverted to their current references in May 1999. The pencilled inscription 'MR 163' that appears on item (7) is probably due to an error or change of mind that occurred when the maps underwent conservation work in 1929; (see also WO 78/1006)
