Transcipt of deputation by (1) Edward Barckley, esq., Robert Barckley and Francis Barckley, gents, sons of Maurice Barckley, kt, deceased, to (2) Hugh Sexey.
By charter under the seal of his bishopric 31 Mar 23 Eliz, 1581, Gilbert [Berkeley], bishop of Bath and Wells, granted to (1): the office of auditor general of all accounts of all receivers, etc, of all manors, etc, of the bishopric of Bath and Wells, for 3 lives, at £6 13s 4d a year.
Appointment of Hugh Sexey as their deputy.
