Transcript from a book of decrees of the Court of Augmentations, now in the custody of the Queen's Remembrancer, Trinity term 7 Jun 30 Hen VIII [1538].
William Greye produced in court an indenture dated 24 Feb 29 Hen VIII [1538] between (1) Simon [Dekys], abbot of Kenelworth [Kenilworth Abbey], Warwickshire, and the convent, and (2) William Greye of Salforde [Salford Priors], Warwickshire, gent, leasing the manor of Salford Priors, lands in Salford Priors, Donyngton [Dunnington in Salford Priors] and Cobbenington [Cubbington], the advowson of Salford Priors, and lands, etc, in Woodbevyngton [Woodbevington in Salford Priors], etc, for 99 years, at £49 18s 5d a year.
