Indenture of lease granted by Sir Edward North, knight, chancellor of the Court of Augmentations, Sir Thomas Pope, knight, and Edmond Marten and Thomas Barbour, esqs, executors of the will of Sir Thomas Audley, knight, Lord Audley of Walden and late Lord Chancellor of England, to Thomas Mildemaye, esq, of the manor of Blendeknyhtes [Blind Knights] and the manor called the Rye in Layer de la Haye, with messuages called Wardes, Giles, Harveys, Hethouse in Layer de la Haye, plus the manors of Abberton and Baddecockes, Essex, the manor and advowson of Moche Tey, the manor called Northelandes in East Mersey, the hundred called Lexdon Hundred, all in Essex, and the manor of Dariton Bassett, Staffordshire.
