Y Committee, Dec 1939 - Dec 1941
Successor to the former Y Sub-committee (and not to be confused with the Main Y Committee, which succeeded the Coordination of W/T Interception Committee and was re-named the Y Board in January 1941). Committee strengthened after Hankey Commission in Feb 1940 by addition of independent chairman, a whole-time secretary and representatives from RSS and cable censorship.
