Michael BOORTMAN, alias Michael VAN DER BACKER, Eddy PEETERSON, BAUR, BAUER: Dutch. A member of the Dutch National Socialist Party, he joined the S.D. in 1940 and was posted to Athens under cover of the Todt Organisation as a W/T operator. He claimed to have worked against the German interest and gave himself up to the British in 1944.
