Ask to replace the Master Blacksmith at Sheerness with another as, due to duties calling the Master Smith away from the Smithery, it is essential to have two superintending Officers at all times. If it is not appropriate to appoint another Master Smith, ask for the appointment of a Second Foreman, to be borne on day pay.
