Description

John Wilson Croker. The fids invented by M Rotch, are generally disapproved of and even thought dangerous, with which we agree. Ask that the Admiralty consider the propriety of discontinuing their fitting, rather than keeping some in store to meet the demands of such Captains as may wish to try them.
