John Wilson Croker. George Knight, 4th clerk in the Store Office and John Shayler, 3rd Clerk in the office for controlling storekeepers' accounts, are incapable of further service due to age and infirmity. Francis Skegg, 5th Clerk in the Store Office is also incapacitated by infirmity. Are sending statements of Mr Knight's and Mr Skegg's service in the office and of Mr Knight's service as Acting Storekeeper and his service at sea. Ask for these to be laid before the Admiralty and recommend their superannuation, although Mr Knight's should be delayed until June when he will have served for 35 years.
