Description

John Wilson Croker. Have sent a new set of instructions to the Secretary of the Committee of Accounts at the Navy Office, who has confirmed it will completely answer his wish. An allowance is made for lodging money in the new instructions, which was not previously provided for, but this charge had always been admitted for officers from ships. The Lieutenants permanently under Captain Richbell are treated differently.
