J.W. Croker. Mr. Lushingham has suggested on the management of mooring chains to be purchased from the Earl of Morley and asks whether objections may be raised to putting the contract up for sale. The Commissioner of Woods has proposed to receive dues based on Mr. Whidbey's estimates, through the Harbour Master at Plymouth Sound but recommend arrangements should be made for their collection by Officers at the Custom House. A copy letter from Mr. Whidbey with estimates is being sent.
