Description

John Wilson Croker. Commissionr Woodriff, Jamaica Yard states the yard is too small and suggests enlarging it by taking in ground to the north, including Polygon Battery. He has communicated with the Duke of Manchester, Governor of the island, but it appears the sanction of the Government is required. Are sending an extract of the Commissioner's letter and ask for directions.
