Description

John Wilson Croker. Commissioner Puget advised that the Commander in Chief in the East Indies intended that the harbour of Trincomalee should be used as a refitting port for HM ships, and had made appointments in consequence. These related to William Taylor, Samuel James, Charles Hellyer and John Johnson. Ask for approval to these appointments and the pay proposed.
