Description

The Aetna bomb vessel, has applied for instruction in respect of a vessel called the Scholar, stated to be American under a Prussian colour, of which Captain Godfrey has asked him to take charge. She is consigned to Messrs Wilson of London. We have no engagement with Mr Wilson and the vessel is not engaged on account of Mr Solly, with whom we have a contract. Ask for Mr Harris to be given whatever instructions are thought proper.
