Description

Peter Baker to the Board. He cannot carry out the work for the Assistance without a protection for his bargemen. Has sent the names of men employed in conveying timber and materials to Mr. Stephens but has not received an answer to renew the protections given. Request for protection to be granted for the same length of time, otherwise work on the ships now building for HM Service will come to a stand.
