Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Francis Bassett, Treasurer to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, Leighton Buzzard [Bedfordshire], regarding payment from the parliamentary grant. They enclose [attached] the other half of a bill to be used when drawing the payment from her majesty's paymaster general for the sum of £171 15s 0d in respect of grants for the salaries of the schoolmasters and schoolmistresses and a moiety of the salaries of the medical officers for the year ending 31 March 1848. Paper Number: 23939/1848.
