Folios 137-139. Letter from William Powell, Clerk to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board. He forwards particulars of the medical contracts for their approval. Enclosed is a table showing medical districts and parishes, areas, population, costs and medical officers for Lady Day 1848: Robert Collison, Newport Pagnell. William Heygate, Newport Pagnell. William A Rogers, Wolverton Station. Thomas Nicholas Heygate, Hanslope. George Osborn Rogers, Newport Pagnell. John Maskew, Fenny Stratford. Nathaniel Godfrey, Turvey, Bedfordshire. Hammond Chalk, Olney. Thomas Parker, Woburn, Bedfordshire. William Wootton, Harrold, Bedfordshire. Robert Collison, Newport Pagnell Union Workhouse. Annotated: the 1, 2 and 3 districts appear to have been altered since last year. Same officers except Mr W A Rogers. The salaries paid to the officers of Haversham, Hanslope, Turvey Bedfordshire, Olney, Wavendon, Lavendon districts and workhouse are the same as last year. Send the forms. 15 April 1848.
