- Folio 99. Letter from William Powell, Clerk to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, headed 'Relieving Officer's Salary'. He advises that it was the intention of the board of guardians to have fixed the salary of Mr Hogg, Relieving Officer at their meeting yesterday, but because of poor attendance they have adjourned until the next meeting of the board. Paper Number: 11389/A/1947.
