Letter from William Powell, Clerk to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, enclosin an amended list of people prepared to be emigrated to Canada from Hanslope parish, and states that the cost will be met from the poor rate. Enclosed is the list and description of those persons seeking to emigrate from Hanslope in the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union to Canada. Those listed are: Matthew Lane, labourer, Charlotte Lane, his wife, with their children William Lane, Mary Ann Lane, Henry Lane and James Lane. Paper Number: 10831/A/1847.
