Description

Folios 1, 5-7, 10-17, 21-29: Surgeon's general remarks.

Folios 2-4: Daniel White, aged 11, boy; disease or hurt, accident fell and hit the perineum. Put on sick list, 14 August 1807. Died 19 August 1807.

Folio 5: Thomas Harvey, aged 28, seaman; disease or hurt, a shot from the batteries after shattering the boats gunwale, grazed his left side, breaking three of the true ribs. Put on sick list, 23 August 1807. Discharged 1 October 1807 to duty.

Folios 7-8: J Cashaw, aged 30, seaman; disease or hurt, fever. Put on sick list, 27 September 1807. Died 25 November 1807.

Folios 7-8: R Whitaker, aged 22, marine; disease or hurt, fever. Put on sick list, 10 October 1807. Died 20 November 1807.

Folios 7-8: William Brown, aged 23, seaman; disease or hurt, fever. Put on sick list, 12 October 1807 at sea. Died 17 December 1807.

Folios 9-10: The following men were seized between the 15-26 October 1807 with fever. G Bateman, aged 32, seaman, discharged to duty 22 October 1807. J Shepherd, aged 32, marine, discharged to duty 30 November 1807. B Burnham, aged 26, seaman, discharged to duty 5 November 1807. J Blackshaw, aged 20, seaman, discharged to duty 13 November 1807. W Valens, aged 32, marine, discharged to duty 24 November 1807. D McMahon, aged 19, seaman, discharged to duty 16 November 1807. J Moore, aged 30, seaman, discharged to duty 23 November 1807. J Barensk, aged 21, seaman, discharged to duty 13 November 1807. W Griffith, aged 20, seaman, discharged to duty 24 November 1807.

Folio 12: J Thomas, aged 36, seaman; disease or hurt, injuries to the leg and face and several other parts of the body resulting from a fall when drunk. Put on sick list, 11 November 1807 at sea.
