Description

Sanders and Henniker to the Board. The Master of the Lyde, Robert Hodgson, unloading masts from Riga at Portsmouth, on contract, has had 3 crew members, Isaac, Dixon, James Hills and James Calvert, pressed onto the Invincible. The Lyde is to leave to pick up another cargo of masts from Riga, by Charter Party, but cannot sail without these members of the crew. As they are under the protection of the Navy, ask for them to be released and returned to the vessel.
