The Woolwich Officers report that Stuckey was employed with another Shipwright lining masts and when work pressure lessened it was decided that as the other man had more expenses than Stuckey, Stuckey should be placed in less skilled work though on the understanding that if a second Shipwright was needed, he should be re-instated. He accepted this but after a time left the yard, blaming the Master Shipwright and the Clerk of the Cheque. His petition followed. Messrs. Sison, Store and Jeffery did not think that the Master Shipwright acted unfairly.
