William Marsden. The agent for Lieutenant Henry Whitby has asked to be paid for the time he acted in the Prince George. The records show that he was discharged from the ship in March to the Leviathan. He then joined the Castor in April 1801 as a supernumerary for passage to the Leviathan, which he joined in June as Lieutenant. Believe that Lieutenant Whitby should receive half pay from the day he was superseded in the Prince George to the day he embarked on the Castor. He should have personal pay as Lieutenant from the time he joined the Leviathan in June. Ask for the necessary order.
