Captain Schomberg of the Madras and senior Officer at Malta has written to Nathaniel Taylor, Naval Office at Malta. In January 1804 Giuseppe Colrena, Master of a speronera Mediterranean boat, delivered to the Madras two English Seamen, Thomas Sarman and Henry Eastall, who had been captured by the French and now released on parole of honour. They had been brought from Syracuse to Malta by Colrena. Asks to be re-imbursed for the cost of the journey and for subsistence. Captain Schonberg has directed Mr. Taylor to pay 20 dollars to Colrena.
