William Marsden. William Raingercroft has asked to be paid for the time he acted in quality of Lieutenant on the Hydra. He was entered on the ship's books in April 1802 as an Acting Lieutenant with an acting commission from Rear Admiral Sir Richard Bickerton. He was discharged and paid off in December 1802. Recommend, as there was a regular vacancy for a Lieutenant, Mr. Raingercroft may be paid on Admiralty order.
